Payment Service Provider
Our payment processing is provided by Paytrail Plc (business ID 2122839-7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Plc appears as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement and forwards the payment to the merchant (Ropee Oy). Paytrail Plc is a licensed payment institution authorized by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority.

Ropee Oy operates an online store at ropee.fi serving consumers in Finland (excluding Åland Islands).
Customer
Customers must be at least 18 years old.
Customers under 18 may place orders only with the consent of a guardian.
When placing an order, the customer must provide:
- name
- address
- phone number
- email address
- personal identity number (when ordering with invoice)
Ordering
Placing an order requires acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
A binding agreement is formed when the customer completes a purchase in the Ropee Oy online store.
An order confirmation is automatically sent to the email address provided by the customer.
Ropee Oy will also send a delivery confirmation and, where applicable, an invoice to the same address.
Ropee Oy reserves the right to cancel an order in the following situations:
- technical error
- human error
- pricing error
- incorrect stock information
- product out of stock
In such cases, customer service will contact the customer as soon as possible and offer either cancellation or a replacement product if available.
The shopping cart does not reserve products, and prices or availability may change before the order is completed.
Ropee Oy sells to consumers and reserves the right to refuse orders that are reasonably suspected to be for resale or non-personal use.
Delivery Time
Standard delivery time is approximately 3–5 business days after order confirmation.
Delays may occur during:
- promotional campaigns
- peak seasons
- special product orders
Prices
All prices include applicable taxes (VAT), but exclude delivery costs.
Delivery costs are clearly shown before the order is confirmed.
Ropee Oy reserves the right to cancel orders in case of clear pricing errors.
Payment
Available payment methods include:
- card payment
- online banking
- invoice
- installment payment
Available methods may vary depending on customer details.

Shipping Costs
Shipping costs depend on the order contents and selected delivery method.
Total delivery costs are always displayed before confirming the order.
Right of Withdrawal and Returns
Customers have a 14-day right to withdraw from the purchase in accordance with Finnish consumer protection law.
Returned products must be:
- unused
- in original packaging
- in resalable condition
All product parts, including labels and instructions, must be included.
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
The customer must be able to provide proof of return (e.g., shipping receipt).
Uncollected Parcel
An uncollected parcel is not considered a return.
If the customer fails to collect the parcel without notifying Ropee Oy, the shipment will be returned, causing additional costs.
Ropee Oy reserves the right to charge:
- a handling fee of €10.90, and
- a new shipping fee of €5.90 if the customer requests reshipment
If the customer does not wish to receive the order again, Ropee Oy reserves the right to deduct the €10.90 handling fee from the refunded amount.
Complaints
In case of a defective product, customers are requested to contact:

The complaint must include:
- order number
- product information
- description of the issue
Photos should be included when possible.
Complaints apply to products that are defective under applicable consumer protection laws, not to normal wear and tear.
Ropee Oy will process complaints within a reasonable time and cover delivery costs for accepted claims.
Transport Damage
If a product is damaged during transport, the customer must file a complaint:
- with Ropee Oy
- and with the delivery service provider (e.g., Posti)
within 7 days of receiving the product.
Warranty
Product warranties are determined according to product-specific warranty terms.
Details are provided either in the product packaging or by the manufacturer.
Personal Data
Ropee Oy processes customer personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
Data is used for:
- order processing
- delivery
- customer service
Data may also be processed by partners when necessary to complete the order (e.g., payment service providers).
Marketing-related data processing is based on customer consent.
Limitation of Liability
Ropee Oy is not liable for delays or damages caused by force majeure events, such as:
- strikes
- government actions
- logistical disruptions
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Finnish law.
Any disputes will primarily be resolved through negotiation.
If no agreement is reached, the customer may refer the case to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board or a competent court.
Changes to Terms
Ropee Oy reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions.
Changes will be announced on the website at least 30 days before they come into effect.
